Chuck Thornton crafts guitars featuring a range of solid wood and semi-hollowbody archtops with innovative construction methods and top-quality materials. His patented thinline hollowbody guitar design features neck-through construction and a uniquely sculpted neck joint. Solidbody designs are equally groundbreaking, applying fresh design approaches to creating the best tone, playability and durability in traditional types of solidbody guitars.

Chuck's website contains glowing testimonials from his many customers around the world as well as rave reviews by some of the most respected magazines in the music world such as “The Tonequest Report.” He's known for using only the best of materials and his world-class quality craftsmanship, but perhaps the most telling evidence of his work is that over 1/3 of his customers own at least 3 of his guitars. And there is even a fan club in which all members own 5 or more of his guitars. Chuck personally takes every call and works closely with each customer to personally build the best guitar for that musician. The difference in a CpT creation & one off an assembly line can be astounding.

All About Jazz needs your support

Donate
All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, shelter in place and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary effort that will help musicians now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the bottom right video ad). Thank you.
